Some things I learned about being an artist:

- Someone is always better than you.
- Shading can be your best friend or your worst enemy.
- An idea will always be an idea until its on paper.
- Practice doesn't make perfect, but it comes real close.
- People will always like the following drawings:
* Anthro/Furries
* Mermaids
* Emo Photography
* Anime style Disney Characters (Princesses)
* Superheroes. From Batman to Superman
* Fat/bloated/enlarged girls. I have yet to figure out why
* American styled characters anime/manga style
* Crazy Avater pairings
* Well done yaoi parings (Kingdom Hearts, Death Note, Archie [I've seen it! Its horrible!!!] )
- You won't get better until you try something new.
- People won't pay money for something they don't like.
- Criticism is the best thing you can receive but hard to accept.
- Learn to draw what you hate.
